Upgrade your master's degree with practical experience: take the opportunity of a dual study programme and put the content you have learned in theory into practice. You can do it here at MAN, with exciting challenges and great future prospects. The dual master’s programme runs at our Munich site in cooperation with the Munich University of Applied Sciences. At our Nuremberg site, you will study with the Technical University of Nuremberg.

What does a dual master’s student at MAN actually do?

Deepen the theoretical and practical knowledge you gained in your bachelor’s degree with a dual master’s programme.

At our Munich site, the dual study master’s programme is taught at the Munich University of Applied Sciences, which offers you the opportunity to complete intensive practical placements during your studies and to write your master’s thesis in cooperation with us, an international company. The course runs for 1.5 years and begins in the winter semester.

At our Nuremberg site, the dual study master’s programme is taught at the Georg Simon Ohm Technical University, Nuremberg, which offers you the opportunity to complete in-depth practical placements during your studies and to write your master’s thesis in cooperation with MAN Truck & Bus SE. The course runs for 1.5 years and usually begins in the summer semester.

Depending on your course, the dual study programme is available in a range of departments across the company. Possible practical placements include HR, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Research & Development, Production & Logistics, and Procurement.

The dual study master’s programme in Munich begins in the winter semester. In Nuremberg, the dual study master’s programme generally starts in the summer semester.

The salary is aligned with the relevant IG-Metall union tariff agreement for trainees and apprentices.
