Warranty

All MAN yacht engines are supplied ex works with a two-year warranty, which applies to the complete MAN scope of supply.

Extension of the warranty: Gold Standard

Free of charge, you also receive the extension of the warranty (Gold Standard) for a further three years on the main components (crankcase, crankshaft, camshaft and oil pan). Only requirement: Your shipyard has to provide evidence of engine installation in accordance with MAN quality criteria. Additional benefits for you: You benefit from optimised maintenance costs.

The extension of the warranty is subject to the normal use of the engine. The Gold Standard extended warranty excludes wear parts such as air and oil filters, seals, etc. as well as components that have to be replaced regularly according to maintenance intervals.

Extended warranty: Gold Standard Premium

In addition to the warranty ex works (two years) and the extended warranty (Gold Standard), you have the option of additional protection for yourself and your investment:

Gold Standard Premium offers you an extended warranty of three additional years on top of the normal warranty, bringing it to five years. For the additional term of three years, it can be concluded for a further 2,500 or 4,000 operating hours. Your additional advantage over the Gold Standard extension: All components of the engine are completely covered.

All MAN engines for workboats are delivered ex works with a one-year warranty. This warranty applies to the complete MAN scope of supply and therefore also to all parts of the engine. Parts subject to wear and tear as well as components that have to be replaced regularly according to maintenance intervals are excluded.

Work PLUS|1 and Work PLUS|2 extended warranty

Beyond the one-year warranty, you have the option of additional protection for yourself and your investment:

Work PLUS|1 or Work PLUS|2 offers you an extension of the warranty by up to a further two years and thus up to a total of 3 years. The service life of your engine depends on the application.
