MAN Driver App

The download of the App is free of charge. Charges may be incurred by your mobile phone provider for calling our breakdown service MAN Mobile24 and for using the mobile internet.

The use of some functions requires registration on the RIO platform and the booking of the corresponding digital services. You can find out the costs for these services on the RIO platform Marketplace.

The MAN Driver App supports you in a wide range of areas – simply and reliably. It is at your side, for example, in case of a breakdown or a damage. With one click, the App connects you to the MAN breakdown service, directs you to the nearest MAN dealership and supports you in reporting the damage to your fleet manager.

If you drive a truck or bus, the App’s digital checklist makes your pre-departure check easier. And the integrated, digital manual (truck) informs you quickly and comprehensibly about important functions of your vehicle. The App can also provide you with a clear visualisation of your driving and rest times (truck and bus) and individual performance analyses (truck). You only have to book the corresponding digital services.

We are constantly refining our driver App, integrating additional features for you.

Self-registration:

As a truck or bus driver, you can register yourself in the MAN Driver App in just a few steps:

• When you start the App for the first time, simply select “Log in”. If you have already used the App without logging in, you will find the log-in button in the settings as well as on the screen view of other sections.
• To create your account, enter the VIN number of your vehicle, the number of your driver card and your user name (email address or mobile phone number). You will then receive a confirmation link by e-mail or SMS. This link will take you back to the registration page, where you can choose your personal password and complete the registration by clicking on “send”.
• Restart the App and log in with your user name and password. Done.

Important: Self-registration in the MAN Driver App is only possible under the following three conditions: 1. The vehicle associated with the VIN number entered is registered on the RIO platform. 2. Your driver card has been scanned at least once in a vehicle registered on the RIO platform . 3. Your fleet management has activated the “Self-registration” option in the user management on the RIO platform .

Registration via the RIO platform :

For drivers of MAN vans, the creation of a new driver account is carried out via the “Driver Administration” section (not via the User Administration menu!) on the RIO platform :

• Your fleet manager creates a driver account for you in the driver administration and sends you an activation link via e-mail or SMS.
• The link will take you to the registration page where you can choose your personal password and complete your registration by clicking “Send”.
• Now restart the App and log in with your user name (email address or mobile phone number) and password. Done.

We have integrated the Perform section into our driver App for this purpose. The feature clearly presents the performance data of your tours. Continuous analysis of your personal driving style enables you to sustainably optimise your driving performance, to reduce wear and tear and save fuel.

Important: The display of the performance values requires that the digital Perform service is booked for your vehicle on the RIO platform . Performance values are not available for buses or vans.

Displaying of data in the MAN Driver App requires the assignment to a driver card. For this reason, only the individual information for the logged-in driver is ever visible in the MAN Driver App. As fleet manager, you can view all information on the RIO platform . The performance values are only available for trucks.
