Rise to any challenge with a new driveline, the D30 PowerLion. The centrepiece is the new D30 engine with the XPI injection system with common rail technology, which is exclusively used here. The turbocharged engine is available in power ratings of 279 kW (380 HP) to 412 kW (560 HP).
In combination with the new MAN TipMatic 14 generation of gearboxes and all other consumption-reducing properties, fuel savings up to 4 % in comparison with a long-haul semitrailer tractor from model year 2024 are possible.

In terms of aerodynamics, the MAN TGX is truly a breath of fresh air: Air resistance and consumption levels are noticeably reduced, especially in long-haul transport, and the design not only reduces fuel consumption but also general contamination of the vehicle.
Flexible plastic parts such as the aerodynamically optimised A-pillar cladding, the improved frame trim, the new underbody trim and the door gap closures ensure more favourable airflow around the vehicle and reduce the build-up of turbulence. The optional spoiler-like and reversible extensions on the sideflaps and roof spoiler reduce the clearance between the cab and the semitrailer for even more effective aerodynamics, even in crosswinds.
Using GPS, MAN EfficientCruise with PredictiveDrive scans uphill and downhill gradients and calculates the most efficient driving style.

With MAN SimplePay, fuel cards can be digitally stored on the RIO platform for each vehicle. It will soon be possible to make contactless payments for everyday transactions, such as for refuelling, the truck wash, or parking, via the MAN Driver App. Additionally, drivers of MAN trucks will soon be able to pay for refuelling operations digitally via a suitable MAN media system in the vehicle, provided that the truck is fitted with a suitable telematics box.
In the event of a breakdown, the automatic cost approval of €1,500 – 5,000 stored in MAN SimplePay ensures problems will be dealt with quicker. All transaction data are displayed in an automated and vehicle-specific manner in the digital fleet solution. The costs for each vehicle can therefore be viewed easily and potential cost savings can be identified – even for vehicles from other manufacturers.
