MAN Terms and Conditions of Service
MAN Synthetic Engine Oil is an ultra high performance SAE 10W-40, synthetic based, heavy duty diesel engine crankcase oil. It exceeds the highest performance requirements of the latest generation of MAN Truck & Bus high performance Trucknology® diesel engines.
It has been extensively field tested in South Africa, using local standard fuel, and has proven its durability in our severe local operating environment. It has proven excellent performance with regard to reducing wear, maintaining viscosity and engine cleanliness, in the extreme operating conditions commonly found in southern Africa. It also addresses the concerns of the sensitivity of engine control systems to the sulphated ash content of the lubricant of the next generation of engines.
Application
MAN Synthetic Engine Oil is designed for use in the latest generation MAN Trucknology® engines requiring oil to works standard M 3277. It can also be used in older generation engines requiring oil to works standard MAN 271 and M 3275 as well as D08 and D28 engines from EURO 0, I and II emission class.

MAN Premix Antifreeze and Summer Coolant is ethylene glycol based and incorporates powerful additive technology to ensure year-round protection against high temperature corrosion as well as freezing protection down to -37°C. It exceeds MAN works standard MAN 324 NF. It is prediluted with pure de-ionized water.
Application
MAN Premix Antifreeze and Summer Coolant is ready to use and no water must be added. It can be used as a coolant in all water-cooled internal combustion engines to protect against corrosion and frost damage.
MAN Premix Antifreeze and Summer Coolant additive technology ensures efficient and long lasting protection of the engine cooling system for up to two years. Being pre-diluted there is no chance of under- or over-dosing.

MAN Engine Oil is an advanced high performance SAE 15W-40, mineral oil based, high performance diesel multigrade oil (HPDO) designed for the unique requirements of the African market. It exceeds MAN works standard M 3275, as well as the highest practical performance levels required by engines operating under local conditions.
It ensures excellent control over soot induced wear, high temperature deposits, corrosion, foaming and oxidation. MAN Engine Oil provides a high level of wear protection and ensures superior engine cleanliness.
Application
MAN Engine Oil is designed for use in MAN engines requiring oil to works standard M 3275. It can also be used in older generation engines requiring oil to works standard MAN 271 as well as D08 and D28 engines from EURO 0, I and II emission class.

MAN Axle Oil is a SAE 90 premium quality, multipurpose hypoid gear lubricant containing sulphur-phosphorus EP (Extreme Pressure) additives developed to meet the rigorous demands of commercial-fleet drive axles and final drives. It exceeds MAN works standard MAN 342 Type M-2.
Application
MAN Axle Oil is suitable for drive axles, final drives and other applications which require a relatively high level of EP additive. It is especially recommended for hypoid differentials.
MAN Axle Oil has improved frictional characteristics resulting in lower operating temperatures which obviously implies improved efficiency. The exceptional chemical and thermal stability permits its use at intermittent, high bulk oil temperatures with realistic drain and refill intervals.

MAN Transmission Oil is a SAE 80W gear lubricant containing sulphur-phosphorus EP (Extreme Pressure) additives. It is especially recommended for synchromesh transmissions where it provides full protection to components to ensure reliable operation and smooth gear changes. It exceeds MAN works standard MAN 341 Type Z-2.
Application
MAN Transmission Oil is suitable for manual transmissions (excluding AS-Tronic transmissions), synchromesh gearboxes and other applications which require a relatively low level of EP additive.
MAN Transmission Oil is especially recommended for manual transmissions and has improved frictional characteristics in lower operating temperatures which obviously implies improved efficiency.
